LGBTQ and Jesus

Jesus loves all the children of the world — not just the straight ones. Jesus loves trans people, too.

As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, I’m grateful to see progress, like the Mormon Church moving toward greater inclusion for all people. After all, didn’t Jesus say, “Judge not, lest ye be judged”?

I once had a friend tell me, “Love the sinner, hate the sin.” Honestly, that felt more like judgment than love. Who are we to claim the role of ultimate judge? We all have our own flaws to work on. Let’s focus less on condemning others and more on growing in compassion and kindness.
